Refund policy

Our accessories are handcrafted in limited runs. Which rules apply to returns and exchanges depends on the delivery country. Please announce every return or exchange in advance by email to info@jakobsimon.com and include your order number.

Switzerland

In Switzerland there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. Returns and exchanges are therefore generally excluded.

We review requests on a case-by-case goodwill basis, for example for unworn items in their original packaging requested shortly after delivery. There is no entitlement to this. If an exception is granted, the request must be made promptly after receipt and the item must be sent back immediately after our confirmation.

Germany, Austria and the rest of the EU, Norway and the United Kingdom

As a consumer you have a statutory right of withdrawal. You may cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. Please send us your cancellation by email to info@jakobsimon.com. We will then send you the return instructions. Please send the goods back no later than 14 days after your cancellation.

Exchanges are possible subject to availability. The same inspection applies as for a return.

United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand

Orders shipped to these countries are final sale. Returns or exchanges without a defect, for example due to size, style or a change of mind, are not possible.

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. We will find a suitable remedy in line with your statutory rights.

Condition of the goods

Please return items such as handbags or hats unworn, undamaged and in their original condition, with all tags, protective films and the original packaging (dust bag and box).

When exercising a statutory right of withdrawal, you may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. We may charge for any loss in value caused by handling beyond that.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the delivered item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Return address

All approved returns and exchanges are sent directly to our logistics warehouse in Germany. You will receive the exact address with the return instructions.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. In the case of a statutory withdrawal, we refund all payments no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent them.

Damaged or incorrect items

Please contact us by email at info@jakobsimon.com, ideally within 48 hours of receipt, and send us photos of the item, the packaging and your order number. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected in all countries.
